With a Premium Auction, we only get paid after your equipment sells.
DOTmed charges a 20% commission for managing a Premium Auction based on the final Winning Bid (Selling Price), with a $1,000 minimum commission.
For certain items under certain circumstances, DOTmed can offer you Price Protection for your item. In this case, DOTmed or its designee will agree to pay (pursuant to the Notice of Auction between the Seller and DOTmed) Seller the reserve price set forth in the Auction Description, in the event no bid exceeding the reserve price is submitted at the closing of such auction. To post a Premium Auction yourself, you will need the following:
- An accurate description of the equipment.
- Digital photograph(s)
- Clear title to the equipment

DOTmed is glad to post a Premium Auction for you. If you are uncomfortable with computers or too busy, just call us or email us a description and the photographs and we will create the Auction for you.
A note about photos:
Clear, informative photos of your equipment will help it sell faster, and possibly for a higher price. Use a flash -- photos taken under fluorescent light often have a greenish cast, which does not look good. You can post as many photos as you think necessary, and more than one photo is recommended. 
Now you can provide videos of your equipment and we'll include them in your auction listing. Ask your DOTmed project manager for more information.
Don't worry... DOTmed will review your auction. Because we want you to get the highest price for your equipment, we may ask a few questions or make suggestions regarding your posting. Once we approve your auction for posting on DOTmed, we will email you a link where you can print out our standard agreement form, and click the supplied link to agree to the terms -- then your auction will be viewable by our more than 12,000 daily visitors!
