SimonMed Imaging is installing GE HealthCare's SIGNA Premier 3T MR scanners at their outpatient centers in Goodyear and Gilbert, Arizona; Houston, Texas; and Tampa, Florida.

“GE HealthCare’s SIGNA Premier 3T MR scanners can allow us to do detailed and complete exams in 5-10 minutes,” said Dr. John Simon, CEO and founder of SimonMed Imaging. “These scanners are a leap forward for speed, patient comfort, and diagnostic accuracy, and reflect our mission to make advanced technology accessible to the community.”

The SIGNA Premier 3T, which received FDA approval in 2017, includes feet-first imaging, AIR Coils for clinical versatility and patient comfort, and a 146 channel Total Digital Imaging (TDI) radio frequency chain for image clarity. The system also boasts SuperG 80/200 gradient coils and a 70 cm bore offering a balance between performance and patient accommodation. Additionally, its deep-learning-based reconstruction technology, AIR Recon DL, sharpens images while significantly reducing scan times by up to 50%.

SimonMed, headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, operates one of the largest networks of outpatient medical imaging centers in the U.S., with about 170 sites across 11 states and over 200 subspecialty-trained radiologists.
